Participants to Update
This property box lets you select which trustee(s) to update the Business Process Step with.
To update a participant
- Add the Update Participant activity to a Business Process Step activity in your business process definition by dragging it from the Toolbox Pane and dropping it in the Designer Pane.
- Select the activity in the Designer Pane.

In the Properties Pane, under Participants to Update, click Update Participant. If all participants in the step have already been selected, the Update Participant button will display All participants are being updated.
The Update Participant dialog box will open.
- From the Role drop-down menu, select the role that you want to modify. Then, select the trustee that will fulfill the role.
Note: The trustee specified will replace any trustees that are currently assigned to the role for this Business Process Activity.
